No...that is not hair...just a shaddow. There's the hair! They said it is like peach fuzz :-)
This is the "color" version or as Jon says "the orange and white" (versus the black & white version)
Check out those piano fingers!!! Hand on the head...toes in his mouth...so cute! :-)
Josiah spent most of the sonogram (almost 20 minutes) playing with his feet up over his head, hiding from the cameras and kicking wherever the technician put the probe. He is very healthy and very active, weighing in at 3lbs. Mom & baby (& Dad) are all doing well. Ande is not so sure about the alien stomach though...a bit disturbed at being kicked while trying to lay on Mom. He will adjust :-)

A first for the daddy!!!
Jonathan was finally able to feel the baby move!!!
That's right, after enduring about two weeks of Kathleen's frequent requests to try to the feel the baby kicking (after all...SHE could feel it clearly enough), Jon finally felt it! Kathleen was lying in bed, trying to nap and the baby was kicking like crazy. Somewhat apprehensively, she asked Jon to see if he could feel it (for perhaps the 100th time that week). He willingly and patiently laid a hand on her stomach and was rewarded about 30 seconds later when he announced "your stomach lept!".
So fun!!!

Our "little" project
A couple of weekends ago, we took Kathleen's childhood dresser and turned it into a project for our own bundle of joy. Kathleen worked on most of the demolition and sanding while Jon ran power chord interference and did all of the painting (along with dilligently chasing Kathleen away from the fumes). You will notice the general contractor supervising in some of the photos. He kept a watchful eye throughout the entire project, and I have to say...we are all pleased with the final results!
